Record types

  1. DNS maps names to IPs (A/AAAA), aliases (CNAME), mail (MX), and verification/text (TXT).
  2. For email deliverability, you need correct MX plus SPF and DKIM TXT records.
  3. Only edit zones hosted on this server (when using IT Monteur nameservers).
  4. Allow propagation time after changes (minutes to hours).
